1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using ZoneHop ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

ZoneHop is a Chrome browser extension that displays world clocks and timezone information. The service is offered in three tiers:

  • Free: Up to 3 timezones, city search, live clocks
  • Pro ($3.99/mo): Up to 6 timezones, dark mode, cross-device sync
  • Premium ($8.99/mo): Unlimited timezones, meeting overlap finder, custom labels, quick copy, Google Calendar integration

3. Accounts

Free tier usage does not require an account. Pro and Premium subscriptions require you to create an account via our website. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account page.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Free Tier

The free tier is provided at no cost with no obligation. We reserve the right to modify free tier features at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
  • Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription tier restrictions
  • Redistribute or resell access to the Extension

7. Intellectual Property

ZoneHop and all associated content, design, and code are the property of ZoneHop. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension in accordance with these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

The Extension integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar (opt-in), Clerk, and Stripe. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that timezone data will be accurate at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZoneHop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to missed meetings, scheduling errors, or data loss.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension ceases immediately.
